Description

The Quintodecimo Greco di Tufo Giallo d’Arles is a single vineyard white wine with the structure of a red wine, powerful and refined, it is a fantastic interpretation of the Greco di Tufo grape. The ancient yellow-golden colour, typical of the denomination, is more intense in this wine thanks to the partial fermentation in new oak barrels and also to the complete absence of any clarification treatments. It immediately seduces the senses with its spicy bouquet that mixes ground ginger with candied lime, hints of honeydew melon, flint and smoke. The silky texture ushers in a wave of ripe orchard fruits, tinged with minerals and sour green citrus, all carried along a core of zesty acidity finishing with a cheek-puckering twang of zesty lemon rinds. Giallo d’Arles has an extraordinary predisposition to maturation in bottle, obtaining year-by year elegance, complexity and harmony.
