Description

Brunello di Montalcino Vigna del Suolo is the Premier Cru of Argiano. A unique and refined expression of Brunello, produced from the oldest vineyard and only in the best vintages. Aged for approximately 30 months in 10-15hl barrels from Garbellotto which were specially selected for this wine, bottling takes place in April during the most beneficial moon phases and then the wine spends a further 10 months resting in bottle before release. The nose is extremely complex and broad. Classic Sangiovese notes are on display, particularly Marasca cherry and flowers, but there are also scents of orange peel, sage, and balsamic, among others. Dense, structured, and savoury in the mouth with silky, integrated tannins and a fragrant acidity, the finish is very long and extremely satisfying!
