Description

The Cillar de Silos Crianza is made from carefully selected Tempranillo grapes grown on a variety of different terroir’s, some of which are tiny plots with very old vines. Matured for 13 months in French oak the wine is a dark cherry red in colour with an elegant yet mature nose of black and red fruits, sweet spices and light roasted wood aromas intertwined with liquorice. On the palate, it is fleshy, silky with a well structured balance. A refreshing acidity gives the wine a long length with mature tannins, which in time will become smoother.
