The Domaine Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) Pauillac Reserve Spéciale is made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes collected from the younger vines at Château Duhart Milon and Chateau Lafite Rothschild itself and is widely considered to be the ‘unofficial’ third wine of Château Lafite. Displaying aromas of cool blackberry coulis, warm slate, fresh tobacco, cedar, violets and graphite, the palate is compact and concentrated with fine tannins.
