The Giacoma Fenocchio Barolo DOCG is 100% Nebbiolo sourced from twenty year old vines planted in the Monteforte d’Alba region. Traditional vinification techniques are employed in the winery and the wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel followed by a further 30 months in large Slovenian oak casks before release. Deep ruby red in colour with lively, bright highlights this red wine has an intense, ethereal bouquet, with flavours of liquorice and wild rose alongside warm and spicy aromas.
