Description

Taurasi is an historic town located in the province of Avellino, Campania and famed for its namesake still red wines based principally on the Aglianico grape. The I Favati Taurasi Terzotratto is vinified in stainless steel before refinement for approximately 3 years in a combination of small, medium and large oak barrels (1st and 2nd use) before bottling. On the nose there are aromas of anise, tar and raspberry preserve. On the palate, lots of raspberry fruit, minerals, blackberry and a light touch of oak.
