Description

The Mount Horrocks Semillon is sourced from a low yielding, organic, single vineyard of unirrigated vines in Watervale, Clare Valley. The wine was 100% barrel fermented in French oak barriques, 40% new. Lees stirring took place every two weeks for three months, and then allowed to remain on the lees for a further eight months before being bottled without fining. Pale yellow in colour this Semillon displays aromas of stewed apple and lightly toasty, spiced oak.
