The Cognac Tesseron Lot 29 XO Exception is a fine and rare expression from the Cognac Tesseron collection. A unique blend of the legendary Grande Champagne vintage, this cognac is the result of the rarest reserves lovingly aged for at least three generations. The nose is heady and aged, exuding aromas of honey, fig, plum and exotic fruits associated with scents of oak. The smooth and silky tannins give it freshness and vitality. The elegant palate combines flavours of macerated dried fruits with aromas of cocoa and mocha, refreshed by floral notes. Extremely well balanced and deliciously complex, it concludes with notes of marmalade on the finish. Awarded a perfect score of 100 points by Robert Parker.
