Domaine Romy is a 30ha property located in the premium Beaujolais wine growing area known as ‘Les Pierres Dorées’, named after the golden colour of the granite stones found in the vineyards. The tradition of winemaking in the family goes as far as 1700’s. Nicolas Romy and his father Dominique take a natural, hands-off approach to the cultivation of the vines grown in their Terra Vitis certified vinyeards, creating wines that are a true expression of the terroir. Clos de la Chapelle is an aromatic and fruity single-vineyard Chardonnay, fleshy and refreshing with an excellent finish.
