Description
Etienne Sauzet’s La Tufera punches far above its AOC status. It is sourced from four parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, where the vines are on average 50 years old. Aged in used oak barrels and steel cuves, it opens up with a gorgeously inviting, floral nose of honeysuckle and yellow fruit. The palate displays mirabelle flavours, backed up by a gripping, taut note of grapefruit and stone. This is ripe, intense and has great energy and balance.[#intro]Ripe, intense, energy & balance – La Tufera punches way above its AOC status…[/intro]
