Matured for 11 months in French oak the blend is Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) and Shiraz (35%). Elegant and complex on the nose with notes of ripe red berries and hints of fynbos. A savoury touch is added by notes of black pepper. The red berry character follows through on the palate with beckoning raspberry and cherry flavours as well as a touch of savoury spice.
