Description
The first official Prosecco DOC Rosé was finally approved by the Consorzio Tutela del Prosecco in 2021. Made from Glera and between 10-15% Pinot Noir, the yields for each variety are restricted, they will be “Millesimato” (or vintage) with at least 85% of the grapes coming from the specified year. For this vintage Prosecco Rosé, Le Colture combine Glera (85%) grapes from their own vineyards on Montello hill and Pinot Noir (15%) grapes that are bought in specially. Light antique pink in colour, it displays typical Glera aromas alongside hints of small red berry fruits. The palate is elegant and fresh, the subtle rose petals notes joining with stone fruit and orchard fruits leading to a persistent finish.[#intro]Vintage rosé delivering all the white peach pleasure of classic prosecco, laced with raspberries…[/intro]
