LE DIX de Los Vascos was created in commemoration of 10 years of Domaines Baron Rothschild (Lafite)’s work in Chile. The first “grande cuvée” LE DIX originates from 70 year-old vines located in the terroir known as “El Fraile”. It is a wine of exceptional complexity, balance and elegance. LE DIX de Los Vascos is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (95%) and Syrah (5%), matured in oak barrels (60% new) for 18 months. The nose is complex, with aromas of black cherry, ripe strawberry and plum, underscored by a hint of oak, with delicate notes of cedar, graphite and dark chocolate.
