Grapes for the Maison Auvigue Pouilly-Fuisse Vieilles Vignes are sourced from three vineyards located in the best part of the family estate, with vines aged between 66 and 72 years old. These old vines produce only tiny quantities of fruit which means that each grape is highly concentrated and full of flavour. Fermented and aged in oak barrels for 8 months, the wine displays aromas of brioche with hints of toast and vanilla and notes of vine peaches. The palate is round and supple, the tannin slightly truffled and the finish velvety and structured with a lovely acidity, great depth and richness.[#intro]An elegant Chardonnay of impressive complexity and concentration, from 70 year old vines…[/intro]
