The Mandrarossa ‘Timperosse’ is pure Petit Verdot, an innovative and unconventional grape variety for Sicily. Sourced from vineyards grown in the area around Menfi on the south-western coast of Sicily the wine is matured in oak barriques for six-months prior to bottling. Intense ruby-red in colour Timperosse displays intense aromas with elegant notes of red fruits, mulberries and plums and aromatic herbs such as rosemary and sage.
