Marchese Antinori’s Tenuta Montenisa Blanc de Blancs Franciacorta NV is and elegant sparkling wine made from the finest Chardonnay (85%) and, in a small part, Pinot Blanc (15%) grapes cultivated in the Montenisa estate’s vineyard. The fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by an ageing of at least 24 months on the lees give the wine a lively and floral personality, of great balance and finesse. A light straw yellow in colour with a creamy bubbling and small and continuous bubbles. The nose is immediately fragrant with floral and fruity notes which recall apples and white peaches. The palate is distinguished by a liveliness and freshness accompanied by much balance and a notable elegance. Perfect served with hors d’oeuvres, as an aperitif, and with fish. Its vibrant crispiness make it a perfect wine as an after dinner drink as well.
