The Nelson Estate Cabernet Merlot is a rich, chocolatey Bordeaux style red wine blend from the Paarl wine region of South Africa. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small amount of Petit Verdot grapes this wine was barrel aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak prior to release. This wine is very aromatic with blackcurrant and blackberry on the nose complimented with smoky and cigar box characters.
