The name Solosole, meaning ‘just sunshine’, derives from the fact that the wine is essentially a direct result of the work undertaken in the vineyards and the ripening sun. Looking to create a wine that was concentrated, elegant and age-worthy, Allegrini planted a very specific Vermentino clone from Corsica. The result is an extremely drinkable white wine with great ageing potential. Bright straw yellow in colour, this Vermentino opens with aromas reminiscent of white flowers and yellow plums.
