The Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons ‘Classique’ is a highly sought-after red wine blend that combines  Merlot (51%), Cabernet Sauvignon (34%), Cabernet Franc (9%) and Petit Verdot (6%) grapes. Matured for 16 months in French oak barrels the Rupert & Rothschild Classique has an ageing potential of at least 7 years from vintage. A complex and smoky nose starts off with roasted coffee, cassis, black cherry and earthy spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with seamless tannins and just enough acidity to retain freshness.
