The Saint Clair Godfrey’s Creek Noble Riesling is a delicious dessert wine that is only made in certain vintages, when the season has facilitated the extra hang time the grapes require for the growth of botrytis. Sourced from vines grown at the heart of the Marlborough wine region in the Wairau Valley, grapes for Godfrey’s Creek Noble Riesling were hand harvested once the desired level of sugar had been reached. This is a wonderful complex dessert wine, with a bouquet of poached apricot, candied citrus and white clover honey. Opulent and silky on the palate with rich orange, lemon and cocoa notes leading to a long, smooth finish. Perfect with blue cheese or fruit desserts.
