Storm Wines ‘Ridge’ Chardonnay is sourced from a vineyard grown on a cool, eastern slope on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge with low-vigour, stony, clay-rich Bokkeveld shale soil. The 2023 was picked with great vibrant, natural acidities and saw an extra two months in barrel, totalling 13 months in Burgundian barriques. The Ridge Chardonnay is an elegant expression marked by restraint, length and minerality.
