Grapes used for the Val do Galir Godello are sourced from Virgen del Galir’s premier cru quality vineyard “A Malosa” in the village of Entoma, Valdeorras. Aged for five months on its lees in stainless steel, as well as foudre and French oak barrels of 500 litres, it is no wonder this grape is making a name for itself. Refreshing, crisp and deliciously fruity with a characteristic Galician zing. The nose is delicate, salty and mineral with floral, herb and citrus notes. On the palate the wine is vibrant, silky and elegant with good structure and a full body thanks to its lees ageing.
