Westmalle Brewery is a Trappist brewery to be found in the Westmalle Abbey, Belgium. The Westmalle Brewery is a true Trappist trailblazer, an abbey with nearly two centuries of brewing history and whose work has done so much to progress the cherished monastic brewing tradition. The golden blonde Westmalle Extra Trappist Beer is brewed only twice a year and is the table beer served to the monks and their guests with their lunch. Although lighter in alcohol than its brother brews, it has the characteristic Westmalle aroma with hops coming through in the finish. It is a real thirst quencher.
